Pepi M. Silverman, M.S.Ed., Ph.D. (ABD)

Director, Bridge Educational Advocacy
Educational Advocate, Consultant, and Inclusion Specialist
Learning Behavior Specialist and Administrator

Bridge Educational Advocacy has been founded to support students and their families in the action of working with school districts to ensure appropriate services are delivered.  Advocacy is the action of “support” that will make the difference when pursuing services for your children.

I have dedicated my life to supporting the rights of ALL students. I have sat on all sides of the conference table. I understand all of the roles and each participant’s responsibilities and I bring that understanding to my work as an advocate.  Bridge Educational Advocacy is my opportunity to extend myself and my knowledge and experience to support families needing assistance.  It is with an earnest desire to make a difference that I offer my service.

As a former general education and special education teacher, I understand how to meet the needs of a diverse student population.  As a former district level school administrator, I know the rules and regulations that schools must follow in the provision of school-based services, As a university professor, I teach future teachers, so I can bring that knowledge and expertise to the work of advocacy on behalf of the families that I serve.
